Why is there less gravity on the moon?

There’s less gravity on the moon because the moon has less mass than the Earth. Gravity is a force of attraction that is made by every single object in the universe, from a golf ball to the planet Mars. Larger objects have more gravitational force, but its all relative – The moons gravity is only weaker in comparison to the Earth’s gravity. Smaller planetary objects have even less gravity than the moon.
